Nostalgia Thursday: Trapper Keepers and an Upcycled Tissue Box Notebook Tutorial

I bought a Trapper Keeper! I found it at a garage sale and looking at it brought back so many memories that I had to buy it.

My first Trapper Keeper was purple with a white border. It's currently living in a box at my parents house, so I am inspired to go look for it. Scanning the aisles for colorful notebooks and folders was always so exciting at the beginning of the school year--and it still is for me :)

Since I'm in a notebook frame of mind, I want to share a tutorial about how I use pretty tissue boxes to make notebooks. There are so many tissue boxes that have beautiful colors and patterns, and it's a fun way to use them.

  5. That's a classic Trapper Keeper you've got there! I found a bunch of them in an old store in Philly and had to buy all of them: http://myworld.ebay.com/jump-dumpster

I like your contemporary and elegant take on it though. Much less plastic! A
